There is a manhole cover/lid that is 900 x 600 with an internal opening of 450 x 550. all in concrete sat atop of the concrete risers the same size 900 x 600.

My question is is the manhole cover ok for cars to drive over on the drive or does it need replacing with a different one if so which one.

I will try to post pic later

Hope that makes sense too.

as long as the manhole frame is supported all round on the biscuit then it is ok. also the cover needs to be sufficient to take the weight of vehicles.

Thanks for the replies I have checked in the street and there are other drives with the same covers in them being driven on so they must be ok.

its not a saucepan pablo its a collander :;):
I am a bit of a libertarian, and i do not see why multiple agencies should hold multiple scraps of information on me
as has been shown by their incompetence ,the govt.s idea of security is leaving people's personal data on trains, in taxis, bars you name it
i subscribe to very little except the times,my mrs signs up for loads of stuff and as a consequence gets a multitude of unsolicited calls and letters day and night, all down to people cross-referencing her data and flogging it to double glazing firms etc
