what fall do i need on my patio. i was told 2cm over 60ft was fine, but think this is wrong info. anyway i have built my patio edging. the patio falls from the back door to the grass in one direction. the distance covered is 6m. i have made a fall of 2cm.

have i cocked up?

i should have looked into this a lot more. it seems i need a fall of 1:60 which = a 10cm fall.

i will have to dig out my hard core and lower the brick edging

the flags will be indian paving.

anyone got any advice

yes 1:60 for injun stone m8, best change it now before its too late
depending how riven the stone is some might go for a bit more fall i.e. 1:40/50 but personally i find 1:40 way too much
2 cm over 6M is 1:300 which is nigh impossible with injun stone

Yeah - 1:60 minimum for a patio

1:300 is near-as-dammit flat. The flags laid first will have started to turn green with algae encouraged by standing water before the far end of the patio is reached!
