Advice please - I am putting in edging (150 slab on edge) with haunching (as per instructions on main pages) but cant find anything to tell me how long to leave it to set before filling and compacting the sub base - I dont want to damage it by using the wacker plate too soon.
Apologies if this info is on the site, it probably is. :p
Adding and compacting subbase - How long to leave haunching to go off?

If it's a reasonably strong mix (C20/1:2:4 or above) and there's plenty of it around the edging kerbs, then, as long as you're careful, overnight is usually enough, but it's much better if you can give them at least a full day.
If you're building up against the edging kerb, then a couple of days is needed, really.

Agree - we lay sub base & tarmac on edgings laid the day before, using simple run of the mill gen 1 concrete.
