Old pics from "Concrete practice" dated 1980
made me chuckle, and when my dad looked at them he said "The bad old days"

I have fond memories of those sorts of practices...probably rose-tinted spectacles, but life seemed simpler and happier back then.

My F-i-L drove for Trumix. He owned a really distinctive half-cab unit, and I knew him before I knew Mrs Taz. Everybody in their street had a concrete driveway! :;):

years ago i used to wheel and deal, duck and dive :;): One batch of suits i had i was selling for £20. "The muck savages" used to bite my hands off for them, they were dark brown thick pin stripe, ( says it all really ) i would'nt be seen dead in. One xmas eve after being out on the lash all day i ended up with nothing to wear as i had been bin bagged by the wife. So on xmas day i was forced to put one of the "whistles" on. I walked into the pub and lined up along the bar must of been 20 blokes all with the same suit on, some still had the building site attatched. all of them were at half mast due to them getting soaked and shrinking. Best thing about it though was that foster brothers across the road from the pub were selling the same suit for £16.

Funny when doing the gimp, still with the work boots on. hard times, great times and happy times getting pissed listening brenden shine, the dubliners and all the irish songs. Before the compulsory punch up
