Bring your own carryout booze is seriously pricey in scandinavia. Are you going on a cruise it's somewhere I would love to go some day.
Can't see it from my house

i did the air miles due credit card thing,i thought it might be a blag but surprise surprise i got the flight for nothing would of cost £500 if i paid :) hotel is 85 a night which aint bad for 5 star,i have a mate who lives there and he reckons he knows some cheap bars where .5l of lager only costs about £4.50 ???
I have been to all the cheapo places round europe and TBh i find some of them a bit depressing (benidorm, poland ,romania etc) went to iceland for the northern lights a couple of years ago and although it was expensive there was something refreshingly different about their culture
will bring the trusty cyber shot ,although i am told there is half a metre of snow there so may not see much paving

everything you ever heard about norway is true

beer £8 a bottle fags £8 a pack 2 plates of steak and chips in a chain £100,bottle of wine £60,even a snickers bar was £2!!

met some decent enough people there but 2 days was enough, didnt get the shot but noticed they had some very large paving units, maybe 1200 by 900 and loads of cobbles

was fun, but need the euromillions to really let loose there
