we are paying £50 a load away for 20 ton eight wheelers had 30 out so far, they are carting to local high quality soil and turf supplier and charging them for it.
the rest we are now stock piling in local field with tractor and dump trailer for back fill after the piles come out, piling the rest tomorrow and putting ramp in then 3 ton in bottom to dig ring beams out. i reckon on a week of shuttering for joiners then big pumped pour in next two weeks. will keep adding photos.

yeah thats the new one, got it augering and cleaning up in the hole. its great actually spins the auger like a power drill, and with the bucket on is really fast and strong. for grading you have to knock it back to 75% revs. really like the 2 speed tracking button on the blade control really handy for grading with the blade.
been keeping an eye on not knocking it on the sheet piles haha, dad had a moan i'd got a load of sand in the cab. but how do you get into it without having sand on your boots?, just need to fit a radio now. its all wired up for one but no radio for some reason, got a spare mp3 head unit somewhere.
just now tryng to persuade the old man to upgrade to the kubota 8 ton now, and the 1.5 ton. we've got a 12 year old yanmar 1.5 ton, only done 2000 hrs hours and only get used couple times a year when we can't get 3 ton in etc but no one really like using it as its slow and unstable.

kubotas hardly ever come with a fitted radio
firm I work for runs the old KX251 (Re badged hanix 8tonner == heap of sh*t) which has no radio therefore no one wants to drive it
ps firm has just last wek got new TB125 and bowser from CBL a snip at £17000 all in delivered wonder how long before 15 different drivers turn a nice tight machine into a mangy old dog
