also if you get the council to extend your crossover they will have to relay the slabs or do the whole thing in bitmac

I paid £6000 for all (and they din't used the kerb colour that I signed off in the contract as they dont make it!!!) I did get cheaper quote but due to bad experience and lack of any recommendation, I was really afraid to get a small company. I thought that I was going to have Anglian people doing my driveway but the sad thing is that Anglian just used a subcontractor, which had come to give me a quote...(cheaper).. Anyway this is life!!!!!
I dont mind about the slabs, my only concern is between the slabs and the edging, as this is a kind of steps (i believe you called it crossover) ...step hazard and the dirt will get kind of stuck there so I will have the brush it more often ...
I will contact the council later on (driveway signed off in Aug) even if they take their time it will be worth as I am planning to stay in this house for a long time
