Laid my Grainite driveway approx one year ago ( with a lot of help from the Forum ) It looked great. Used Kiln dried sand for the Joints ( 5mm-10mm gaps ) this did not look too good as the sand is brown and looked like a dirty joint with my flamed granite. One year on and the driveway looked like a football pitch with grass growing from every joint.
We removed all the sand with a power washer and after reading the ' product details on romex on the site decided to go down this route. We went for ROmpox D it is a bit expensive in Ireland @ €60 per 25 kilo but it is worth the money, this is a real engineering solution, joints are rock steady and it has solved the problem of loose slabs.
It is a bit tricky to apply and does not flow as easy as the video would have you believe, we found it a bit difficult to apply the 25 kilo mix and did half mixes from then on.
This resin compound should be the absolute standard I do not know why anyone would use anything else!
