I have use of the this roller from a next door neighbour.
I have used it to compact the mot but is it too large to compact 60mm concrete pavers?
I have to do 170 square meters and deal with a large slope and the wacker is hard work on the slope where as the roller is very easy to use.
This is the slope.
This is the top drive
I do not want to use it on the pavers and fine it grinds them to dust.
Cheers Carl

i've got a similar terex roller and they can be very aggresive in vibe mode, think mine grosses up at 1.8 tons and you can feel the vibe a good 2 metres away. i wouldn't use it personally
plus the roller will mark the pavers, once the pavers are down your whacker will travel better, if it is your (not hired) whacker maybe the belts are loose which can cause them to not travel properly.

I hope the young tacker on the roller has the correct CSCS entitlement!
There must be something wrong with your plate; as ours will climb a much steeper slope than what you have there. Is it achieving full throttle?

For Dan, It is proper stone, no tarmac, it is just drying out from a shower.
It is my plate and it does travel up the slope but just not as easy as sitting on the roller. lol
Also , Alex my lad is quite a help. He can not only drive the roller but can drive my takeuchi tb007.
He upset my brother in law when he could dig a footing a lot quicker than him. My brother in law is 29. lol
