Thankfully my driveway has now been completed! I couldn't decide whether to go for tarmac or concrete. In the end I went for block paving as it was the most cost effective.
I laid the subbase and the kerb edging. I paid a contractor to lay the blocks! Hope its to everyones liking - Im very happy. Its a million times better than looking at the subbase which I have been down for the past 18 months With the angle of the driveway its certainly eye catching!

I'd agree: some of the cutting-in is quite naughty, and I can't understand the strange haunching to the edging kerbs in the top LH corner. Personally, I'd have used a coloured kerb to form that retainer as it would be better looking than smoothed-off concrete haunchiong.
Still, as long as you're happy, that's all that really matters.
