I've been considering a self build retaining wall using Anchorwall or AB Block products for a wall of around 25 metres total length, 15m length with 5m wings, maximum height of just less than 1m. This is to be built on a clay base following the suppliers recommended foundations of compacted Type 1, drainage etc.. I'd appreciate any advice from previous users of these products. Principal reason is to save on costs AB blocks ~£2,500 versus builders brick/block built £5,500.

I’ve not used the product myself, but having viewed anchor walls comprehensive web site I would have to say this looks a good product, also if main players like marshalls are promoting it, that says something.
Be careful to follow the advice on the web site for extra reinforcement on ground that is not level or other variables I’m surprised at the price difference, but if you have never built walls with mortar before this has to be a good option.
