I`ll have to check your passport before you come up to gods country, stop off at O.T on your way theres a couple of trophys worth looking at.
I was in Vegas at the start of the month but try as i might i couldn`t get Mrs FJ and the little FJs to go and watch Fat Elvis with me, supposedly the best show on the strip ( i thnk Sir Elephant John at Ceasars Palace may have something to say about that).
Now waiting for the concert review LLL !! - I was just that bit too young for The King to change my life..... DJ. Fontana tho, is up there in my top fave drummers.
"Meet the new boss - same as the old boss - We all get fooled again"
hey i was only a nipper myself when he checked out
elvis stuff is a lot of fun, have been to tupelo Mississippi, and Memphis TN and there are some great people and stories
and no I don't own a jumpsuit
LLL
me and mrs LLL set out as usual arguing like cat and dog,we got to the M^ toll and i thought how about a nice cup of coffee.
so i stopped at the M6 services, mrs lout wanted a smoke so i left her in the car while i went to pay the national debt of a small african nation for a latte and an americano which involved queueing for 25 minutes
on my return to the vee-hicle mrs lout was fiddling with her ipod, with the engine off ,lights on ,heater on and window wipers on as only people of the female variety can do
you know whats coming next dont ya?
an hour spent asking folks did they have jump leads untill 1 saint helped us out,got to the reebok at 5ish had some dinner (bottle of sancerre and 3 pints of guiness) then went to the show
at the show i seemed to attract a lot of attention from the local elvis fans ( its a long story) and this involved spending a lot of time at the bar,
so by this time i was frazzled and got drinking with 2 scousers ,christy and tommo, somehow we blagged it up the front,at this point the evening becomes very hazy
i do remember thinking that i have heard better elvis's in chinese restaurants than these guys, but the bolton arena is a huge sports hall and the acoustics were terrible (up to about 5 weeks worth of alcohol units by this point)
i have a vague recollection of shaking frank worthingtons hand and getting and losing his aurograph and also of the hotel being very hot and claustrophobic whne i turned it in
have to say the reebok is a great stadium and it does bolton proud, and the breakfast was lovely there too
as for shawn klush??? give me elvis schmelvis any day of the week
