I need 50-60 sq. mts. of Accrington brown/brindle Clay "Slimline" chamferred edge block pavers. Measuring: 200 x 65 x 60 deep. They have the number 233 or 235 on them. I am informed they are no longer manufactured yet my builder only laid them 12 months ago (has since gone out of business) Can you help me locate a source of supply? Thank you
Have you tried contacting the Nori factory in Accrington to see if they have any stocks?
When a block is taken out of production, the manufacturer often keeps a stock of 'emergency supplies' for customers, such as yourself, looking for a few square metres to match up, repair or complete a particular project. I know that manufacturers prefer to offer this 'service' to their bigger clients, but, there's no harm in asking.
Another possibility if to contact a Brick Factor. They have industry-wide contacts of who's got what, how many, and where, so they can sometimes track down 'stopped lines'.
This will be a bit of a detective job for you, I'm afraid. You can more or less guarantee that someone, somewhere, will have the bricks you require, but it's hell of a job tracking them down. You never know, though. Someone might read you plea and be able to help! :)
