I have been asked by a customer about installing Bradstones water storage system under a new patio.
I had not seen this before and was wondering if anyone had any experience of installing it. Having looked on their website I am not convinced that storing water under a patio would be the best place.

It does work, but as a rainwater harvesting system, it has limited capacity. I'd only use it as an attenuation system beneath residential paving on relatively free-draining ground.
In theory, there's nowt wrong with storing water beneath a pavement, but you have to get the construction spot-on or there's a real risk of settlement and then the client starts giving you grief.
