Hi I am getting quotes for doing 80sqm of block paving...Most of my quotes are around £5.5-6K. 3 Counties Building Services have come in at 4K.... why so cheap? how can i trust them? anyone used them?

never heard of them

get a written spec of whats being done from each contractor. That way you can be sure they are all quoting for the same thing

If its too cheap its usually for a good reason.

Round my way anything with counties in the name is usually pikey related. Not sure where you are but it could be the same everywhere

Use a well known and trusted local contractor who has previous work for you to see.

Be wary, very wary of cheap quotes. Lots of groundworkers coming off sites at the moment and flooding the residential market - some might be tempted to cut corners and make a quick buck at your expense.

Just beware.

Someone who calls themselves building services and not paving services means they aren't at it full time either.
Can't see it from my house
