Suppliers of blocks/sand etc..
The CBP supply market is so competitive that there's little or nothing to choose between all the major suppliers. Most BMs complain that the margin on CBPs is so tight (they only make a quid or so per square metre) that they're hardly worth selling. I know some BMs, such as Willis in Braintree, are knocking out RMC pavers for around 7 quid per square metre, but that's an exception. Generally speaking, you'll find all the major suppliers in your area are within a few pence of each other for the same type of block.
The only real opportunitry to save on cost is to move to a cheaper product. Plasmor recently opened a new plant that is serving most of Leicestershire, and their blocks tend to be a bit cheaper than those form the 'Majors' such as TopPave and Marshalls, but then, they may not be to your liking. I'm not sure if BS Eaton get their blocks over to your neck of the woods, but again, they tend to be a bit cheaper than the top-sellers.
And it's pretty much the same with sand - it's a cut-throat market and the only way to make significant savings is to buy direct from the quarry or to buy in full loads and thereby avoid the excessive charges imposed for AggBag sales.
