Cheaper hardcore - Is it any good

I don't agree. Type 1 crushed is perfectly good for domestic paving, either patios or driveways. If you end up with a little detritus from the yard, it's no big deal and easy to remove.

Looks like we have to agree to disagree on the hardcore and depths Rich!!
I do however agree that it is a waste of money, time ect in some circumstances, but i`d rather leave a job knowing i wont be called back.( I havent as yet). Ok i might have 5% less in the way of profit but i can rest assure that i wont get that dreaded phone call!!
