Slab laying - Whats a fair price

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

hi tony great site,whats a fair price per metre to fit and lay 63msq of 450mmx450mm marshalls plain richmond buff slabs? all in price for excavation sub base, skips, clean up etc.its around a pond with a slight overhang.i live in herne bay,kent nr canterbury.i have been quoted, Is £3150 fair? thats £50 a metre.

Get multiple quotes, and then get references which you follow up. If the job's done well and you can afford it, the price is fair!

price seems ok but always get more quotes and check the standard of other jobs

The ONLY way to check the accuracy or fairness of any price is to get comparative prices. This is why I place so much emphasis on obtaining at least 3 quotes for every job.
