Hi, i'm realy after some advice. I have decided to lay a path made of 600x600 slab edged by a single row of brick or block running the length of the path. I intend to set the brick in cement and have the slab on a bedding layer. My problem is Should i set the brick first or lay the slab first or is there a right or wrong way to do this. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated as i am a total novice at this game. Thank in advance.

lay the edge first on concrete, not just "cement" bed. remember to keep the concrete down on the inside to take the flag and haunch it slightly on the outside. this will stop any lateral movement and retain your bedding.
