Raised patios and dpc

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Thanks will pass that info on. Have just discovered that I have a concrete fence post concreted to the corner of my wall, which is also above dpc, will this cause same probs with damp? Wasn't aware of this till now, but just been poking around in soil and hit solid concrete, an inch or so underneath. That fencing job was defo a 'cowboy' job, they even wore stetsons and came on horseback. :angry:

Not usually a problem. Most people have garden gates, fence posts, etc., against the house.

Yes they do, I have myself, but the concrete is below ground level and not half a barrow full attached to wall, above ground level. Thanks anyway, just wondered.
