can anyone tell me the best way to go about sealing the brett alpha blocks which have wider joints than normal omega block paving.resiblock flicks the sand out of the joints when put on with a roller and much more suitable for the omega blocks.should i use some sort of joint stabilser first or should i not be using resiblock on alpha blocks.

A proper sprayer is the best option. It gives more even coverage, and more square metres per litre, than a roller, and it avoids lifting sand from the joints.
It can be a bit of a pain in the arse having to clean after each use, but it's well worth the effort because it does a much better job.

thanks guys.....has anyone ever pumped resiblock thru one of these pumps,or better still can you tell me what kind of sealer you did pump thru these pumps.sealing seems to be my undoing since i do a great job on the paving and then can't quite get to grips with the sealing business!

I've used Eureko Pave-Gard on two clients' drives recently after we'd washed and re-jointed for them. Goes on milky white at first (dont panic!!) then goes off quite quickly.....sprayer definitely best - I have a backpack one which I restrict for sealer, moss killer, and weedkiller only....
full bed only - spot and dabs are the scourge!!
