Hi- I have just laid a patio from concrete slabs 400x400. I got a little giddy with the mortar- being a lttle too runny it has stained some of the slabs. Will a brick cleaner remove the stains or is there another way?

thanks in advance

dont use brick cleaner, or other acid based proprietary cleaners,as they may damage your slabs.see main site for assistance:)

Hi Matt- Thanks for your response, so quickly too- as i'm jointing this morning (envious eh!- NOT)

Am I right in believing, as per the main site that these will be the answer to staining

1. time- weathering(denudation)- over a period of 12 months the stain will erode and become less noticeable

2. Wire brush or rotary attachment (dremel type)- cursing the very day I started the job, playing rhythmically in my mind.

3. Use less wet- more dry mix, combined with a more detailed approach ( let time be your friend!)

Big respect to you from the York Stained Massive!

Thanks Rod
