I need to lay waste pipes from 3 showers/toilets. The run to my existing septic tank (its a large brick built one) is about 10 metres and down quite a hill. Could someone tell me the maximum fall I can get away please? I am using plastic pipe.

1:40,if you have a steep gradient you need to tumble it then maintain the 1:40 fall to avoid separation
