Was a belter of a day here so got the in laws round for a Barbie. Everything was going great steaks/ sausages/ kebabs/ prawns the works then I run out of gas. What a f*cking amateur I am wife went off the scale luckily cooker and oven saved the day. What chance have I got if I can't even master the last bastion of maledom. Idiot. :p

I too had the inlaws and didn't think about the gas level. Fortunately alright but it happened to me a few years ago. As a result I bought a second cylinder, a 7kg one, as a backup for future cock-ups!

who's the eejit? i bought loads of barbeque coals at the end of last season for £1.00 a bag thinking that i would save a few pennies.. then the missus went out and bought this huge gas range the next day..... at least i do have a back up...probably for the next 10 years:D
general builder, maintenance engineer, gas and plumbing installations, extensions etc
