Does this geotextile look ok?

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

Hi,

Just a quick question. I have been looking around for a geotextile to use in a french drain. I have found terram 700 to be quite expensive (£200 cheapest for 4.5m x 100m). Would this geotextile below be ok to use?

Also, what is needle punched geotextile, and do I want that?

Thanx,

Rams

Looks good enough to me mate, ive used Terram bought from ebay for £30 ish for 100mtr delivered. All the fabric does is keep the soil etc from mixing with the pea gravel and keep the drain free flowing.
