I bothered you guys in Dec i believe with my frontwall questions, well I am here again!!
I have now built the front wall from 100mm concrete blocks & am going to render it, I have read the threads regarding rendering & know that I am going to use Plastic beeding (it consists of 7 pillars) & waterproofing solution, however I have been advised that not to use building sand but use washed sand. Should I use lime and what should the mix be.
I will post some photos this week for opinions please!!

Good job i,m not pisd see main site reference landscaping and wall construction, I believe you,ld need a 1;1;6 mix for your render, but depends on how hard you want it. T he lime will assist in plasticising the mix so should float well imho. LLL will best advise on the actual wall construction, but the drainage principles are listed on the main site;)
general builder, maintenance engineer, gas and plumbing installations, extensions etc
