Hi all

I,m new to the forum but i use the site regulary for info in regards to civils etc, I,m going to be blocking my drive shortly and i,ve chosen the marshalls argent circle design, the circle comes as a unit then its standard 3 size block fanning out from that, can anyone give some advice as i,ve never done this pattern before,I take it you lay the circle then work your way out from there,do you work round the cicumfrence outwards or work outwards in a fan pattern.

cheers G

Yes: start with the circle components, then work outwards.

As the centre of the circle is often located in the middle of a screeded area, well away from an easy access point, it's a good idea to create a temporary walkway to the centre-point using planks or decking boards. Carry the blocks to the centre across the walkway, leaving the remainder of the screed intact, and create as much of the circle as possible, aiming to extend to a point where access is easier. Then, remove the walkway, re-screed, and complete the laying as necessary.
