I'm in the process of doing my driveway with Formepave Chartres, the area has been dug out to 10", everything ordered has arrived, but the looking at the Paving expert website, the bit about edgings, it seems there are two methods, 1) Putting concrete bed down onto compacted subgrade the edgings bedded on top. or 2) Putting the concrete bed down onto a layer of compacted sub-base and edgings bedded on top.
As the driveway will have three fairly heavy cars parked on it, the last thing I want is any movement. I must point out that I mainly do fencing and patios, but my other half has been on at me to get our own driveway done,
Somebody please point me in the right direction of the correct way, and save me from a future life of misery from her indoors.
