Angola's office for its equivalent of Scotland Yard collapsed the other day. There was an extreme amount of water beneath the building as there is little in the way of drainage here.

As all work in tghis office is paper based many criminals here must be rubbing their hands with glee! Obviously not the ones who were being detained though.

Ah wasn't this the building that recently had a large generator placed on the roof?

They are saying this about the generator...

But, according to a friend of mine who works in the criminal investigation unit and works in this building, they also had a number of pumps pumping the water out from underneath the building 24 hours a day and putting the water on to the street (which has few if any working drains). And since this building collapsed another two buildings have collapsed nearby. It has been raining a lot in the last couple of weeks and as there is no working drainage I think the water on the street is plaing a large part in all this.
