Excellent!
I'll take 4m2, in Taunton and 20m2 in Wellington, lets see how that pays for them! NOT.

Getting Ebay to do anything about iffy sales is a major headache. On numerous occasions, I've had to insist that thieving bastards selling cd copies of this website have their listing removed, only for the same shameless robber to set up a new Ebay account and do it ball over again. The amount of paperwork required by Ebay to initiate their "Vero" protocol to remove items that are illegal, dangerous or that infringe copyright is more of a deterrent to the victim than it is to the villain.
This "laissez-faire" attitude whereby exceptionally profitable internet companies throw up their hands and claim it's nowt to do with them when thieves, charlatans and rogues use their sites to fleece the general public is a nasty trait that seems to have been brought over from the States, where regard for consumers seems to run a poor second to the right of large corporations to make multi-billion pound profits.

Guys! ................ What's the score here?
I am building a reputable business, I am honest, I don’t rip people off, I do good work and am competitively priced.
We do our best for the customer, its not always easy to run your own business as I am sure you know and national coverage makes it all the more difficult, some support would be welcomed but this kind of chat is not appreciated as it's gossip and could be harmful!
I've viewed this site for some time now and have the utmost respect for it. I admire its values and what the site’s about; I've become familiar with some of the users here, especially Tony so I feel very disappointed to be seen in this light.
The listing on eBay is an experimental marketing attemptto see if eBay performs for us, it’s an honest description.
I’ve spent over 20 years in civil’s & surfacing, the product on offer in this listing is "micro asphalt" not hot coated stone; some of you might know this product as "slurry seal"? Micro asphalt is a carriageway grade of slurry seal with a lower penetration, polymer modified bitumen emulsion used for the binder, larger aggregate is also used and it is fibre reinforced, we have also made some tweaks of our own to make our product harder the reason for several layers is to allow for shrinkage in the regulating prior to the final surface application due to water evaporation.
If any one here wants to discuss this matter further with me or perhaps see a demonstration, please ask and I’ll make the arrangements.

nationwide-my initial thoughts when i saw your e-bay listing, was it looked like some cowboy outfit offering a dodgy product, unsuitable for use. taking a look at your site,i'm still not clear what this product actually is.
what i know as slurry seal,as used by local authoritys, is a cheap fix solution to low traffic roads and pavements, applied over existing poor condition tarmac/ asphalt to extend its life.
you say that your the only contractor using this product in this way in the u.k,so obviously you can see benefits that no one else can. do you have any pics in detail you can post of the material,so we can look at it further.
apologies in advance if i have classified you as a cowboy, without knowing the full picture and i hope you can see why i have done so,with my current knowledge of your product

Correct, local authorities use these products to good effect all over the UK, Kent alone apply around 1million square meters every year!!! in fact Europe and the US are big users too. Our unique product is modified because micro can be difficult to lay by hand and also residule softness can be problematic we are designing and testing all the time in order to further improve it.
Slurry is only good for low traffic and footpaths however micro is a carriageway grade of slurry and in general people within the industry and many local authorities do realise there is a big difference between the two. Thanks for the apology it makes all the difference and I guess the eBay listing could do with a re-vamp!
As for the fore-sight, Im affraid this is just a natural progression for me after the many years working in civils & surfacing along with the desire to run my own business. As for images I will see if I can suss out how to upload some, or send me an email address and I'll forward some to you.

So that's why my hew hubby wants two wackers is it LLL?
Just to update you all the stroke we thought he had at the grand age of 26 was a viral infection in his brain - must be some clever virus - anyway he is still numb down one side but back on site. I am the only wife you will ever hear say she is chuffed to bits her hubby has an infected brain!!!
Back to see neurologist in 2 weeks but as he's back to work already I'd say he's well on the way to recovery
We have toyed with selling laying rates on a per m2 on the ebay but to be honest it just feels a bit tacky to me. Much rather let the word of mouth do it's best!
