Is it just me or does anybody else here find the sight of a merry dog walker swinging a semi-opaque bag of dog-sh!t as they walk along just repulsive? It is almost displayed as a trophy sometimes!!

Dog sh!t at it's best is rank, just imagine picking the steaming turd up after it's just been 'laid' on the footpath.........it is just utterly disgusting if you ask me!

Picking up the odd cat-turd in my back garden a few years back with a shovel used to make me urge, what it must be like to pick up a dog-cable off the footpath just defies belief, IMO!

I know dogs shouldn't crap in public places etc and picking it up is a necessity for public health, but I'd have to draw the line somewhere. I couldn't own a dog.

Apologies to rant on about this, but I saw a few walkers out today!

Ah, you have one of those "types" do you Joe? We do, too. He always carries a bog roll with him wherever he goes, he's not fussy is our Glen!

I own a dog!

My trusty companion goes with me everywhere, and visits all the gardens i work in.

I don't however do the swinging the bag routine. On the rare occasions he does something erroneous, i immediately collect it and place it in the nearest wheelie bin.

9 times out of ten though, a handy shovel and a skip are the order of the day.

its a small price to pay though. the customers love him!

A few months back me and the wife spotted a woman on the opposite side of the road from our house trying to pick up after her old dog as it plopped dollops of the semi runny type on the pavement whilst still walking along

Dogs are great, but I wouldn't have one !

cant leave it to decompose as can seriously harm young kids if they come into contact with it. I own ... no I'll rephrase that the missus owns two dogs. One is quite cool in a little mutt way, and the other which is pure bred shitsu is nothing more than a long haired rat and has been put on this earth to kill me :D Nearly took me out going down the stairs more than once! The air was somewhat blue on each occasion, and good job it was movin fast or it would have been airbourne iykwim :D The missus does the bag thing and puts it in a bin provided by the council for that purpose. Keeps most of the shit off the streets... Pay a visit to Le Havre and take a short walk around the down and you'ld never complain about the shit baggers again!

Mistake number 1. Never allow your dog upstairs.

Mine has a bed in the conservatory where he sleeps at night, and one in the living room where he stays witrh us in the evenings. He's not allowed to go anywhere else and as a result, the house stays clean! (the cat is not allowed upstairs either, and when i catch it up there, my left foot comes into contact swiftly!)

o way am i getting up in the morning and stepping into red hot, squidgy, stinking pile of s**t.

Mistake number 2

HOUSE TRAIN YOR DOG!!!
there is no excuse for a dog crapping on your floor.

maybe i have the best behaved dog in the world or summat, but i don't have any of the problems you all have experienced!
