Shortly to lay 50 m2 of this and would like feedback from anyone who has laid this particular stone product.
I was wondering if this particular paving really does require a full mortar bed as the catalog states is essential for their natural stone (using building sand to boot)
Otherwise I would have chosen the Moist Mix approach as recommended on this site but feel a bit nervous about contradicting their advice and am looking for some assurance from the pros
Many thanks
Mike

There's no conflict between what this site says and the advice from the StoneFlairians. They say full mortar bed; pavingexpert says full mortar bed. The only slight difference is that I'd advocate a moist mix whereas they remain uncommitted, and they foolishly suggest crappy building sand in place of rougher, tougher and cheaper coarse/grit sand. That, perhaps, is why they just sell the paving and don't actually lay the stuff!
