Lime stain

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Had a bag of limebonded coloured sand on tarmac drive. lime has leached out of sand in heavy rain throughout January. This has stained tarmac. Any ideas on removing this stain.

Hydrochloric acid? I'd try it, diluted 1:1, in a discreet area first, though. If your bitmac is based on a limestone aggregate, you might have problems.

Thanks, I'll not do that again, just had ton bag coloured dumped on drive with other bags. Came back after couple of weeks when rain finally stopped to find nice trail accross drive to drain. Will try as you suggest but have a horrible feeling this is going to cost me.
