As LLL kindly notes, I develop genuinely random layouts for any flags/pavers, to fit any area, regardless of steps, curves, arcs, cut-outs or sheer bloody awkward shapes and space.

Unlike every so-called 'random generator' currently out there, I guarantee my layouts reduce wastage to an absolute minimum, and are not simply a copy of the same motif repeated over and over again. Further, I can work with pre-determined quantities, I can work with reduced ranges (so if your supplier is suddenly short of 560x420s, I can produce a layout to suit), and I can even factor-in specific requests, such as "we want three of the big flags outside the patio doors".

I've tried every computerised generator I know, and I still use my own system because it's the only one that gives me total control over every aspect of the layout.
