I run a small patio/drive cleaning company in Shropshire (started 12 months ago) have not yet done anywork on Pic.
Have been asked by a potential customer to re-seal her Pic drive, laid about 4 years ago, re-sealed 2 yrs ago.
I have read through the posts and the site and found them really useful, but I still need to know how to clean and reseal Pic.
Is it ok to use a rotary surface cleaner to clean Pic (will the pressure damage the existing sealant) ?
When re-sealing a Pic drive does the existing sealant have to be removed and if so how/with what?
Many thanks if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Hi Pricky
A rotary surface cleaner is ideal for cleaning a PIC driveway and should make short work of it.
You shouldn't have to do anything to the existing sealer except clean it, then its just a case of waiting till the surface is bone dry before you put any new sealer on !
Acrylic sealer can be applied neat onto PIC that has previously been sealed or you can add a little xylene if you want but it shouldn't really be necessary.
