Maximum drainage falls

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

Does any one know what the maximum recommended fall is on fowl drainage (solids) as im lead to believe there is one, and exceeding it may cause problems. Thanx. :)

1:40 is optimum,this works out at about 25mm per metre
our local BC prefer you to tumble a section rather than have say 1:20 as this causes separation ,which isnt good
up to 1:100 can be used for surface water
