I am looking for a block that I can lay on prepared ground, fill with topsoil. plant grass on top of it, and then drive across it. I have seen this used previously and it was very successful as a pull off at the street where limited parking required visitors to pull onto the grass. Does anyone have any advice or reference to this type of paving? I am thinking that standard 8" block are not strong enough on a stand alone basis. Does anyone make a block for this purpose?

No chance.. It was while on vacation. It looked almost like the tic-tac-toe design so it could be butted and produce a consistent open square patter for the grass. The concrete portion had to be highstrength because it ws no more than an inch and a quarter thick. That thinness allowed to grass to cover back over rapidly when driving over it damaged the grass...
