Dpc advice

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

Is there any way to tell where the dpc is on an old house when the base of the wall has been rendered? There is an air brick but it is basically sitting on the level of the concrete already but there is no problem with damp.

dpc (which will probably be slate) will normally be at the top of the render ,or to the underside of any door frames
