our skip bloke had to concrete his yard for the enviromental people and i believe it was 300 mm concrete with steel mesh in it on 225mm compacted MOT type 1, an engineer could tell you better than me though

The spec we used on the landfill sites, where the concrete had to withstand loads of 42 tonnes, was 225mm min of Type 1 sub-base, DPM, 300mm of 35N concrete, with PP fibres and 2 sheets of A193 mesh, top and bottom.

The key thing is to keep the traffic off it for at least two weeks
