Hello , can any of you learned fellows tell me the best way to fix/ patch up a upvc door sill?, one of my lads clipped it with the dumper today (after telling him to be EXTRA careful going round the back), it's not mashed, just got a small 20 pence piece chunk missing off the corner, Some sort of filler and sand it maybe?

you need to get a window fitter to come remove the whole door ,then remove the sill (which luckily for you comes off) and fit a new one and refit the door
prolly cost about £70, if you try and bodge it it will look bad in the long run ,best be upfront and swallow it

Have always worried about hitting a door sill with the whacker plate......it's hellish easy done.

I'm sure it will happen to me someday...........

Many thanks for the suggestions, I do have the broken bit yes, had some good news today though and that is that the customer is having new upvc doors put in around the other side of the building in a month or so, if replacing is the only way then I will bung the man some dough when he comes then.
Thanks fellas
