Cheers,I am going to put a footing 200mm wide by 75mm deep all way round my garden to set some block paviours on to act as a mowing strip and was trying to work out required quantity so thanks for help.
I am assuming that putting a footing round and then laying paviours on mortar will be best idea?Last year i built the levels up in my garden so it has had a good 8 months of rain etc to settle it all.Hope it works out ok sean.

i did exactly the same thing 3 years ago sako, but i used concrete and bedded the clay paviours straight onto the concrete, saves making 2 jobs out of 1

Hi.Yes i did think of doing it the way you are suggesting but as i have not laid any of this of done any brick work i thought i may be easier for me to wait for concrete to go off then just use mortar mix to lay them.
The length per run is approx 9 metres so would i have to get it all done in a day or could i stop just join next bit of bedding mix onto existing??
Just not sure i could lay 9 metre run in same day.
sean.
