I have recently had a driveway put down and over the course of the following weeks a few of the cobbles have been replaced where we have spotted faults.
However, since they have been replaced (only approx. 3-4) they have sunk by a good 8-10mm. I am guessing that this is due to insufficient support underneath and more sand will be required to level them out.
I don't want to go the the hassle of bothering the builder again but I don't have a clue how to remove a single cobble from the middle of a row, without starting at one end and lifting them all.
Is there an easy way to do this or should I persist and get the builder to fix the problem?
My apologies, I have found the section relating to repairs and the removal of individual bricks. Should have opened my eyes a little more before posting!
Will however be coming back to this site for future projects, some excellent info. and advice here.
