Coverage rates - Tarmac coverage

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

hi ive been tarmacing for a good few years now and its all been self taught, when i price jobs i measure them up and caculate how much 6mm will be needed but as i am self taught does anyone know a better way than what i am doing.

Say it is 100sqm i just devide that by 16 for a 30mm depth to give me about 6 tonn of the black gold

dunno about tarmac but thats how most blokes work out concrete etc
there is a page here with lots of other calculators on it
