I didn't know whether to post here or in the block paving section. I am putting down a block paving edge and linear drainage combined which is essentially 10"x18" block of concrete. I am struggling due to the weather with frost, what is the best thing to do?

I am covering the concrete in a very thick old curtain held down with bricks, I am considering using a frost proof additive, but from reading up these seem to be accelerators, which I am worried will reduce the working time? Any advice?

cheers,

anything that will cover it and keep the heat in and cold out. Hessian, Polythene etc; make sure its raised up off the 'crete and secure it , otherwise it will flap around and mark the work. :;):

hessian is my favorite too, as it is cheap and comes in large enough rolls. I also have a roll of epdm rubber for smaller jobs, which is better, but is a little heavy on the pocket for a small job. It is durable and can be re-used over and over again. Great as a splash sheet to protect clients property when using the mixer n all! ;)
