I have now completed my driveway and before resign from the Brew cabin I am requesting promotion to Ganger on the basis of the attached work.

See link above for finished project.
I have to say this is the most use ( other than porno ) that I have found for the internet to date. Tony's book and this site enabled me to make this driveway of 100M2 of granite from scratch, I have a fair experience in building but this was the most puzzling job to do, I had no idea about the laying of the bed and how to work with 10mm slump concrete and working from the layed slabs.

Thanks to all who made suggestions Tony,LLL and many more I would not have such a good job without the comments.

As much as I have enjoyed the site there is now no more reason for me to continue with it.

As I have received a lot of help I can return this, I can answer any questions on Heating/ air conditioning commercial or domestic for a couple of weeks.

I hope ye all will look at the photos and comment good or bad!

LOL. Was expecting to see Pillar Caffrey, Alan Brogan, Jayo or Cluxton all decked out in full kit.

Nice work.

Is that house in Dalkey by any chance?

I think I met that donkey on a weekend there last month didn't get her number though. Out of interest who did you source the granite off and how thick is it. Good job by the way.
Can't see it from my house

Granite was from Outhause 40mm thick only approx €45 M2 a bargin I think, Jayo was in training for next years Sam so could not come to the opening, Donkeys name is Jenny ( sure it was not a dog you met) I will ignore the slur of Dalkey, house is on the north side, near club of NO 8 in Dublin team.

I would like to claim ownership for the photomontage but it was a Lad from Kent's idea of an Irish Driveway Begorragh.

sean, were you christened sean or john ?

i dunno if i mentioned but i booked a flight for my wife's uncle to Dublin, i have know him for 20 years as "sean *****" anyway he gets to luton airport and they wont let him on the plane.
he rings me up desperate, and says " they wont let me on the plane,as you've booked it for ""sean *****""" and me name is john ***** on the passport"
so i asked him what his real name was?
to which he replied "its john, but everyone knows me as sean!!"

kerrching another 90 euro into mr.o leary's coffers

Gotcha, nicer part of town altogether. :D

I'll be doing some work in St Josephs in January so I'll be sure to avoid the stray nuns and donkeys.

I spent most of my childhood summers on Killiney beach and with my family in Ballybrack (before they let in all the scangers), so I'm biased.
