I am thinking of laying a gravel driveway on a slight slope and am planning to use sleepers across thr driveway to stop the gravel sliding down the slope.
Please can someone advise how I should fix the sleepers to the ground to stop them moving.
I am planning to compact the gravel between the sleepers, with it being roughly level with the tops of the sleepers as well, so I am hoping there will not be any movement as we drive the cars on and off but I would be grateful for any advice/thoughts.

it seems a plan doomed to fail john
as your wheel pass from gravel to timber you are bound to get grip problems which in turn will cause the wheels to spin, thereby chucking a load of gravel down the drive
if you want a gravel effect i would go for ronafix or addagrip resin bonded gravel
looks like gravel, but its stuck like s**t to a blanket
cheers LLL
