Hi,

Thanks for all the help that i gained from this website, in the construction of block paving.

Built the garden including the fencing on my own over the weekend and just got some before and afters of the job.

I dont do this for a living, im only 21 just left college and looking for a job in possibly this field

Thanks

That's after and before, not before and after! Looks like a grand job and I like the stripey lawn. :D

You need a rotary mower (ie, a pricey one with a cylinder).

surely a cylinder mower has a cylinder...and a rotary one has a whirly blade?

they're always going for a song in the small ads, usually cause their owners have pegged it.

must be a market for www.lawnmowerexpert.com ?

the stripey effect is also caused by unrolling the turfs in different directions.
It's a waste of time cos after about 3 days, the stripes have gone

Cylinder mowers are better for stripes.

There is a retaining wall behind the raised area to the rear of the garden, an ugly one at that, hence cladding over it with fetheredge boards.

Ps- The mower i use to the stripe my clients' gardens is a rotary with rear roller
