Can anyone suggest a supplier of aggregates in Dorset, in particular sub base MOT type 1.

Apologies for mistake in header.

Avon Material Supplies, aka AMS, were the cheapest I found for loose by quantity, what sort of quantity are you looking for? their number will be yellow pages.

Best of luck

So an 8 wheeler load then. That would be the most economic route.

Do you have a trading account with any of the major quarries - Hanson, Tarmac etc?

An old thread I know but I used http://www.onlineturf.co.uk/products/product-category.asp

£340 for 20 tonnes delivered...half the price of the equivalent weight in bulk bags from Jewsons. Possibly even cheaper to miss out the middle man and ask the quarry company directly.
