I have a sloping garden that falls away from my house, I plan to construct a deck.
My question is Does decking come subject to Damp proofing regs?
this is because the step for the french doors at the back of the house is low, and i would like to butt the Deck right upto the step
Decking?

i always staple a run of dpc under my decking supports to reduce water ingress, which makes them last longer. It is advisable to treat any exterior decking once a year to maintain the rot proofing protection as contrary to common belief tanalising does not protect the timber indefinately !
