Not tried the sealant yet - *still* waiting for samples, several months after it was first introduced.

Any news on this yet Tony.

We pointed part of the patio last night and the colours came up lovely. It need sealing fairly quickly so would be very interested in this.

The Lithofin + gives the wet appearance i understand as opposed to the colour the rompox gives.

Thankyou

Nothing at all, as we ran out of time when we met a couple of weeks back, but the man himself did try to call me yesterday while I was at the doctor's, so maybe, when I return his call on Monday, Ill be able to get some info out of him.

Romex are exhibiting at Glee later this month (Yes! It's September already!!!) and I think (think, not "know") that the sealant is going to be heavily featured.

As ever, as soon as I know anything for certain, I'll post it here

I'm going to look at this at a Blackpool supplier on Saturday. There goin to treat some stone and show me how it drys.

I have the black indian limestone which needs sealing to maintain the colour (or just looks grey). The guy reckons nothing out there touches this stuff. £160 for 10ltr.

I searched for Romex a while back on e:bay, only supplier I could find was in Blackpool - checked just now and it still seems to be listed. Probably that one I guess.

Evans? He doesn't seem like a natural outlet for Romex products. He's a small, local supplier of reclaimed materials with a bit of imported stuff. He must be getting it from his pal in Ribbleton, who I wouldn't trust as far as I can throw a double decker bus.

Yes Evans is the place, in Bispham near Blackpool. Picked some up on Saturday - £135 for 10 litres. Certainly done the job. I used it on black limestone which basically turned grey (some almost white) once laid

Downside was the sun came out whilst on the last few flags and looks like it dried before being proparly absorbed, so looks abit shiney - my fault though.

£160 delivered via ebay, or £135 picked up. I only live down the road. I'll see if I can get some pics together.
